Getting started
- Open any app or website and tap the Share button.
- Choose Linkeep in the share sheet.
- Optionally write a title, pick a category and tap Save.
- Open Linkeep to see, search and organize your links.
You can also copy a link and open Linkeep. The app detects the link on your clipboard and offers to save it.
Frequently asked questions
I can't find Linkeep in the share sheet.
In the share sheet, scroll the app row to the end and tap More, then Edit, and add Linkeep to Favorites with the + button. Drag it to the top of the list. In the text list below, tap Edit Actions and turn on "Save to Linkeep".
A link has no image or title.
Some websites do not provide a preview, or block it. Check that Link images is turned on in Settings, and that you have an internet connection. You can edit the title of any link yourself.
How do I lock the app?
Open Settings > Protection Type and choose Face ID, PIN, or Face ID + PIN. For a PIN, create a 6-digit code and confirm it.
Face ID doesn't work.
Make sure Face ID is set up on your iPhone (Settings > Face ID & Passcode) and that Linkeep is allowed to use it (Settings > Linkeep). You can unlock with your PIN instead if you have set one.
I forgot my PIN.
The PIN is stored only on your device and we cannot reset it. If you also enabled Face ID, use it to unlock and then set a new PIN. Otherwise, deleting and reinstalling the app removes the lock, but also removes the links saved on the device.
How do I create or delete categories?
Open Settings > Categories. Add your own under "New Category". When you delete a category, its links are moved to another category automatically.
Which browser opens my links?
Choose a default browser in Settings. If it is not installed, Linkeep falls back to the system default browser.
Is Linkeep free? Why are there ads?
Yes, the app is free to use and shows ads. Linkeep may ask for tracking permission for ads; you can decline and still use everything.
How do I delete my data?
Your links are stored on your device only. Delete the app to remove them. You can also delete links one by one from the link options menu.
