We're happy to help.

Email us at info@leviostudio.com. Please include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS version and a short description of what happened.

Getting started

  1. Tap the scan button and point the camera at a product barcode.
  2. Watch the sugar stack up as cubes and adjust the amount you plan to eat or drink.
  3. Open the burn-off card to see roughly how far you would walk or run to burn off that sugar.

No barcode? Search by name, or enter the sugar value from the label yourself.

Frequently asked questions

The scanner doesn't open or the screen is black.

Allow camera access for SugarPeek in Settings > SugarPeek > Camera. You can always search by name or enter values by hand instead.

A product isn't found or has no sugar value.

Product data comes from Open Food Facts, a free database built by contributors, so some products are missing or incomplete. Try searching by name, or enter the sugar value from the label. You can also add or fix the product on openfoodfacts.org.

How big is one sugar cube?

By default one cube is 2 g of sugar. You can change this in Settings. Cube counts are always approximate.

How are the walking and running times calculated?

The app estimates the energy in the sugar and compares it with the energy you burn while walking or running, based on your weight (and height, age and sex if you add them). These are rough estimates and not medical advice.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored on your device only. Clear your history from the History screen, or delete the app to remove all data.
